Welcome to Counselling Roots

I am Travis, I offer professional counselling services at Counselling Roots working face-to-face, by telephone and online.

Counselling can enable you to talk about difficult situations and feelings with a trained practitioner. It is a process that may help with exploring your thoughts and emotions, gaining self-awareness. Knowing ourselves at a deeper level can enable us to make better decisions in life.


I use an integrative framework, with a Person-Centred approach because I believe the therapeutic relationship offers the potential for positive change. Central to my work is establishing an empathic and non-judgemental relationship with my clients where they can feel safe to express difficult feelings and talk about experiences at their own pace.


As a registered member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. I receive regular supervision and I am committed to developing and maintaining my knowledge and expertise through continued professional development, which in turn helps me offer professional counselling services at Counselling Roots.

Getting Started

I offer prospective clients an initial free 15 - 20 minute telephone or online consultation, during which we can talk about about any questions you may and what you would like to achieve from counselling.


Sessions are 50 minutes once a week. Regular sessions help us to maintain the momentum and allows me to be there to support you if you find issues to be difficult to talk about.
